Penny Chai joined Sumsub as Vice President of Business Development, APAC in April 2023 and now also leads the Global Partnership Organisation. She brings with her over 25 years of experience in partnerships, business development and marketing. Prior to her role at Sumsub, Penny was the Director of Global Partnerships at the predictive cryptocurrency risks and intelligence platform Merkle Science where she spearheaded the design of the partner program and implemented it globally. Additionally, she was the Channels Director for APAC at Jumio, overseeing the continuous development of the indirect business for the company in APAC. Under her leadership, Penny designed and built the global partner program, growing the APAC partner business by more than 500% in 2.5 years.
