
Rupanjana Mukherjee
Rupanjana is a cybersecurity expert with over 14 years of experience in Zero Trust security, multi-cloud security, credential theft mitigation, identity governance, and DevSecOps. She works as a Principal Security Architect within the Google Cloud (Security Transformation Services) team in Singapore, helping global customers recover from cyber incidents like Advanced Persistent Threats (APT) and Ransomware attacks through containment, hardening, and remediation.
Previously, Rupanjana held key roles at Microsoft, including Cybersecurity Consultant and Principal Product Manager in the Microsoft Identity and Network Access engineering team. There, she developed capabilities for Microsoft Entra, a leading Identity and Access Management (IAM) solution, and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions. She also implemented the Tier model for critical asset protection across multiple large enterprises.
Rupanjana has led global IAM implementations, designed features like Global Secure Access and Authentication Methods for Microsoft Entra, and led secure administrative workstation and application security programs. She is also the lead author of the whitepaper Standardizing a Privileged Access Model for Multi-Cloud and has extensive experience in post-breach remediation and proactive security assessments for cloud platforms. Her deep expertise in securing cloud and on-premises environments positions her as a thought leader in the cybersecurity field.
