Dan serves as the Senior Vice President representing the Northern Trust Digital Assets and Financial Markets Team for the APAC region.

Based in Singapore, he is responsible for assessing the impact of regulatory and market infrastructure changes on Northern Trust’s operating model and identifying innovative operating structures and revenue opportunities. Dan also informs and executes the bank’s strategy related to FinTech developments, including initiatives in blockchain, digital and crypto assets, cryptocurrency custody, artificial intelligence, and market access strategies.

Joining Northern Trust in 2010, Dan has held multiple change management leadership roles in the EMEA region before moving to Singapore in 2015 to establish the company’s Derivatives Practice in Asia. Prior to joining Northern Trust, he spent five years with J.P. Morgan in the UK.

Dan has over 17 years of banking experience, primarily within the global derivatives space. He holds a BA (Hons) in Accounting and Finance and professional qualifications as a PRINCE2 practitioner and a certified Business Analyst under IIBA.
