Richard is a consultant on retail banking and payments, primarily in Asia, and also works as a freelance writer for The Asian Banker and other media. He has worked in retail banking in California, the diplomatic corps and Citibank in Japan. After moving to Singapore, he worked for MasterCard, Keppel TatLee Bank and OCBC Bank. Currently at Transcarta, Richard works with financial institutions on retail banking and payments strategy and research. Richard has a BA from Pomona College and an MBA from Stanford University. He serves on boards of non-profits and also coaches start-ups.
