Samuel has over 15 years of business experience in financial markets (FX, derivatives, futures, commodities), SWIFT payment, blockchain/crypto/web3. Since 2006 he has worked with fintechs, aiding in the GTM, growing business, advising on local and regional regulatory landscape. From 2019, he moved into the blockchain space and held senior roles at a crypto liquidity firm, at major crypto custody provider Ledger and crypto treasury management infrastructure provider, Fortris.

His past experiences include roles at United Overseas Bank, Saxo Bank, CMC Markets, ClearTrade Exchange. As the family business commercial director, he successfully expanded into Myanmar. He started his career with the Singapore Armed Forces following a scholarship. He currently serves as country manager at Blue Ocean Trading, and is the lead blockchain consultant with JFourth Solutions. He is engaged as a mentor at IIT Bombay and Tenity Swiss incubator. He was recognized with the FinTech Leadership Award in Dubai 2022.
