Keynote: Where Music Becomes Finance – Building the Infrastructure for a New Creative Economy

FinTech Week Dubai 2026 (16–17 February 2026) welcomed visionary leaders redefining the intersection of finance and technology. Among the standout keynote speakers was Cristian Larrosa, CEO & Founder of Larrosa MusicTech & Capital, who delivered a compelling address on how financial innovation is transforming the global music industry.

In his keynote, “Where Music Becomes Finance: Building the Infrastructure for a New Creative Economy,” Larrosa explored how music — traditionally seen as an art form — is rapidly evolving into a structured, investable asset class supported by advanced financial and technological frameworks.

Originally from Buenos Aires and now based in Madrid, Cristian Larrosa has built a reputation as a pioneering music executive, producer and artist. Through Larrosa Music Group, he has specialized in music financing and emerging technologies, raising over €15 million to strengthen and scale the music industry across Spanish-speaking markets. His work has been instrumental in professionalizing music assets, enabling artists and rights holders to access capital in new and sustainable ways.

A strong advocate for innovation, Larrosa introduced Wolfie AI, an artificial intelligence platform designed to support contract creation, catalog valuation and strategic marketing. By integrating AI into the creative economy, he is helping artists and investors make data-driven decisions while protecting long-term value.

Further expanding the technological backbone of the industry, he launched ArtSigna, a blockchain-based platform that registers and safeguards musical works. This solution addresses one of the music sector’s most pressing challenges: transparency and rights protection in a digital-first world.

Beyond his executive leadership, Larrosa also heads Rose Talent, representing top Latin American acts while continuing to produce and release his own music. As an accomplished artist, he has released six solo albums and earned one Latin Grammy, two Hollywood Music Awards and five additional Latin Grammy nominations — achievements that reinforce his unique perspective as both creator and innovator.

At FinTech Week Dubai 2026, Cristian Larrosa’s keynote underscored a powerful shift: the creative economy is no longer operating on intuition alone. With structured financing, AI-driven intelligence, and blockchain-backed protection, music is becoming a scalable financial ecosystem.

His vision demonstrates how fintech is expanding beyond banking and payments — reshaping industries, empowering creators, and building the infrastructure for a truly global creative economy.
